Sorry guys, but Dev Patel has already got a girlfriend

Now that he's a full-fledged heartthrob, Lion star Dev Patel is breaking hearts all over, having confirmed his relationship with Australian actor Tilda Cobham-Hervey.

It's not the first time Dev has struck up a romance with a co-star.

Tilda Cobham-Hervey is co-starring in the film, and the filming has begun in Mumbai.

She worked with her parents in a children's circus and according to Adelaide Now, co-founded award-winning creative acrobatic troupe, Gravity and Other Myths, at 14.

Tilda was just 16 when she starred in indie movie 52 Tuesdays, while Dev starred in British TV series Skins before landing his breakthrough role in 2008's Slumdog Millionaire.

The news comes just weeks after rumours emerged that Dev was not now interested in dating, preferring to concentrate on his acting career, but it seems he and Tilda are joined at the hip after seven months of filming together.

The Rayners Lane native couldn't contain his happiness as he wrapped his arms around his other half - who he stars with in upcoming film Hotel Mumbai - coordinating in khaki for their outing.

Dev, who was nominated for an Oscar for his performance in Lion, and Tilda were first linked together when they were spotted hanging out at the Weinstein Company's pre-Oscars party on Saturday.

They were then spotted holding hands the day after the Academy Awards in Los Angeles, appearing in jovial spirits and joined once again by Dev's mother.
