In the past, the game's free trial would punish you as it limited prospective subscribers to only 14 days of play time. That means you'll be able to to try out everything the game has to offer (including Chocobo Racing) at your own pace, all the way up to level 35.
You can visit official website for more information on Final Fantasy XIV. FFXIV is a standard MMORPG in many ways, but it's set in a fantasy universe filled with familiar touchstones. Players can access this new section either by selecting the Special option in the main menu or during chapter 13 of the game when it gives them the choice to play as Noctis or Gladiolus.
Previously the game featured a 14-day free trial for anyone looking to dip their toes in the enchanting world of Eorzea.
In addition to that, update 3.56 will allow players who create characters after the update to transfer their character data from the free trial to the full version if they have it.More news: NASA's Juno spacecraft whizzes closely by Jupiter
Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood was announced in October 2016. The massively multiplayer online game was met with derision from critics and scored substantially lower than Square Enix' previous online effort, Final Fantasy XI.
During the DLC, players will be playing as Gladiolus during his time away from the party in chapter 13.
The Stormblood expansion comes out on 20 June so now is as good a time as any to try the game out.
This new update has more cutscenes and more explanations that are geared towards clearing up that inevitable air of confusion that can arise from this intricate, albeit not-adequately-explained story line.
The Final Fantasy XIV free trial is available on PS4 and PC.
