Could This Be Project Scorpio's Official Name?

First-party titles will include "Crackdown 3", "State of Decay 2", the "Forza Motorsport 7", and "Call of Duty WW2", as mentioned above.

Equipped with a 6.0 TFLOP capable GPU, the Project Scorpio is destined to be the most powerful gaming console the world has ever seen. A noteworthy gaming outlet as of late approached Microsoft to investigate Project Scorpio's specs, before the scheduled revealing of one of the most awaited gadgets for gamers. Speaking of Xbox One, it was noted that all titles, except for VR, to be featured on Project Scorpio will also arrive on Xbox One, but with lower resolutions.

While signs pointing towards a Scorpio showcase do seem legitimate enough, we've recently heard that Battlefront 2 is set to be revealed at Star Wars Celebration, which casts some doubt over it being shown in a Scorpio showcase this week.

"Battlefront 2" is also a safe bet as a launch title for the Project Scorpio as some representatives of DICE, the developer of the said game, have appeared in the reveal trailer of the Project Scorpio at last year's Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2016.

While we won't know the full specs of Project Scorpio until official coverage hits the internet (or leaks early), we do know a few things about the power of the 4K console. Reports are now circulating that the new console will most likely be introduced on April 6.

Microsoft has been pretty mum on information about Project Scorpio ever since it confirmed the project previous year.

Like the PS4 Pro, Project Scorpio will not have any exclusive games but will instead run regular Xbox One titles with better graphics. Fans are advised to take these speculations with a grain of salt.

Considering it's just two days after April Fool, there's a high chance some pranks are still coming out of the woodwork, however according to sources this is no prank, Microsoft really is preparing to announce some Project Scorpio news this week.
