Styles recently revealed that Adele celebrated his 21st birthday in a pretty unique way 2 years ago and actually gave him a copy of her own album as a present - really.
"I feel like I've been hibernating for so long now and you hear it [the album] in the safety of the studio and now it's time to give birth", he says.
As well as giving us our first listen of the track, Harry's also co-hosting the show with pal Nick Grimshaw. He went on to praise the star, saying she deserved her stint at the top.
"I think she leads by example, she's the biggest, she's incredible, she's the best so she should be the biggest", he goes on to say.
"Just stop your crying, it's a sign of the times / Welcome to the final show / I hope you're wearing your best clothes", he croaks, in an artfully dishevelled vocal. "It was a huge part of our lives and I think now it's really cool to have everyone go and write what they want to put out as themselves".More news: Turkey says autopsies prove "chemical weapon" attack in Syria
Harry's upcoming album has been narrowed down from around 70 songs, most of which were penned in Jamaica.
"I had one piece of feedback from my stepdad", Styles said, according to the Manchester Evening News. Styles said: "I played him a few songs after the album was finished". One fan wrote: "I just died, got reborn, died again, went to heaven, and got reborn again". Styles said that Sheeran "didnt say that he didnt like any but he did like one song that isnt on the album".
Most of the album was written in Jamaica where he spent two months.
If you're just waking up, then there's a chance you haven't heard Harry Styles' highly-anticipated solo track "Sign of the Times", which dropped today, April 7. I remember the first time we talked about the idea and I kind of thought it was a joke.
