Liverpool's ambitions still big, but no points target, says Klopp

West Brom head coach Tony Pulis says one or two unnamed players are nursing bruises and will be assessed ahead of the visit of Liverpool.

He is however not eligible to play for the Everton first team as he is still registered to West Brom, who had to pay £1 million to have him on loan for the season.

Pulis is unbeaten as a manager in all eight of his Premier League home matches against Liverpool (W3, D5).

After the introduction of Roberto Firmino and Philippe Coutinho the new system began to bear fruit as the Brazilian pair both bagged a goal as Liverpool ran out 2-1 winners.

The 27-year-old suggests Liverpool will adopt the three at the back formation again this Sunday but fans will hope they adapt more quickly than they did against Stoke.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp on the importance of Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino: "It's very important that players can play together, but if they are only two then it's pretty hard still".

The Reds are looking for their first Premier League victory at The Hawthorns since October 2011, where they picked up a 2-0 win under Kenny Dalglish (D3 L1 since). Ndidi is nearly certainly off the agenda for West Brom, given he's only just joined Leicester City and is doing well.

WBA average the fewest successful passes per game in the Premier League this season (218); an average that is less than half of Liverpool's (477 per game - the second best average). West Brom have had an outstanding season.

The Baggies have scored a league-high 14 goals from corners this season.

West Brom have only earned four points from the last 18 available. They probably don't want to finish too high because it puts the pressure on next season.

I fancy Liverpool to get a win here.

The Reds did very well to come back against Stoke and Simon Mignolet made some super saves, but this is a tough one.
