USF Football Player Charged With Second Sex Crime

Jackson, who was recently dismissed from the program after being arrested for sexual battery and false imprisonment, has been arrested again on the same charges, per ESPN.

Jackson was originally arrested on Monday, May 1 while facing charges of sexual battery and false imprisonment of another student on the university's campus.

The woman said she was in the bathroom at her Hillsborough County home back in March when Jackson asked her to shower with him, the Tampa Bay Times reported.

The woman says she attempted to prevent that by putting her hands on the walls.

A football star has been charged with sexual assault for the second time in a month. According to the Times, the victim told detectives that Jackson 'grabbed her, forcefully removed her clothing against her will and committed sexual battery'.

On Wednesday he turned himself in for further charges - this time for assaulting a woman in her bathroom and then ordering her to buy emergency contraceptive and drive him back to his campus. Judge Margaret Taylor, who was presiding over Jackson's case, tore into Strong over recent violent crimes charged against athletes on his team.

According to ESPN's Andrea Adelson, Jackson's arrest today relates to an alleged incident from March. Taylor is a USF alumnus herself, and cited feeling embarrassed for the first time of her alma mater. Police say Jackson and the woman, in that case, were acquaintances.

The former defensive end was booked on a $9,500 bond Wednesday.

JUDGE RIPS USF: USF alum takes LaDarrius Jackson, coach Charlie Strong to task. He had previously been suspended from team activities following the first arrest.

Before this month, Jackson had never been arrested in Florida, according to state records.
