Cousins Charged For Killing 4 Suburban In Pennsylvania

Sean Kratz, also 20, was charged with three counts each of criminal homicide, conspiracy, robbery and abuse of a corpse as well as a weapons charge, according to documents. Kratz and DiNardo are cousins, according to reports, and were charged with the deaths of Jimi Patrick, 19, Tom Meo, 21, Mark Sturgis, 22, and Dean Finocchiaro, 19, of Bucks County, Pennsylvania.

On Friday afternoon, Bucks County District Attorney Matt Weintraub discussed the arrests of 20-year-old Cosmo Dinardo - who was arrested earlier this week - and a man Dinardo described to police as his "cousin", Sean Kratz, 20, of Northeast Philadelphia.

The details were provided after one of DiNardo's lawyers said Thursday that DiNardo had confessed to killing the missing men and told investigators where their bodies were located.

A drug dealer has confessed to killing four young men separately after selling them marijuana and then burning their bodies at his family's farm, a person with firsthand knowledge of his confession said Thursday.

The source said the men were killed after DiNardo felt cheated or threatened during three drug transactions. DiNardo claims Kratz shot Finocchiaro first, but Kratz reportedly denied this and said only DiNardo shot him. They shot and killed Finocchiaro and then placed him in a metal tank that Dinardo referred to as the pig roaster, Dinardo said, according to the criminal complaint. He's since been charged alongside DiNardo for taking part in three of the killings.

Kratz told police that DiNardo "basically crushed" Meo with the backhoe. He then took him to a remote farm and shot him with a 22 caliber rifle and used a backhoe to dig a grave to bury the body. After meeting them at the outdoor shopping mall Peddler's Village, Dinardo drove them in his truck back to the farm. He picked Patrick up and drove him to his family's 90-acre property.

Cadaver dogs led investigators this week to the spot on the family farm where they discovered human remains inside a 12 ½-foot-deep common grave. He said he took Finocchiaro in his auto but kicked him out after declining to sell him drugs and then spent the rest of the night fishing.

Dinardo told police that when they exited the property he shot Meo in the back, who fell to the ground screaming.

Dinardo and Kratz are cousins, the criminal complaint states. "I feel relief. I feel so proud of my team and I feel resolved", said Weintraub during a press conference on Friday.

"There was an attempt to burn the bodies, to deface them, to obliterate them, but I don't believe that that was successful", Weintraub said.

Court papers indicate DiNardo then crushed Meo with the backhoe, and Sturgis was fatally shot as he ran.

DiNardo, whose parents own construction and concrete businesses in the Philadelphia area, has had a few brushes with the law over the past year.

Dinardo was previously arrested Monday on a charge of possession of a firearm, an offense dating to February unrelated to the missing men, Weintraub said.

DiNardo is "known to be suffering from mental illness". Sturgis' father said he had heard his son and Meo mention Finocchiaro in the past.

One of the victims is 19-year-old Jimi Patrick, a Loyola University Maryland student. After that, DiNardo's bail was set at $5 million. Meo, in his Maxima, with Sturgis, followed DiNardo to his parent's property on the 2800 block of Aquetong Road.
