Stephen Colbert mocks Scaramucci with Bohemian Rhapsody

Stephen Colbert mocks Scaramucci with Bohemian Rhapsody

First he gets into the whole situation, mocking Scaramucci for being sacked just 10 days into getting the job. While Scaramucci and Ball have not publicly commented on the matter, multiple news outlets reported that Ball was allegedly fed up with her husband's political ambitions and supposedly was not a fan of President Trump.

But by the time the primaries had come around, he had soured on the Democrats.

The firm had previously received the green light for various U.S. transactions, including a 25 percent stake in Hilton and the acquisition of Ingram Micro. Whether that meant embarrassing himself with profanity-laced tirades to reporters or missing the birth of his child to attend the Boy Scouts Jamboree with Trump, Scaramucci was going to be a servant of power. Even the National Review, the flagship conservative magazine in the United States, appeared optimistic about Scaramucci's appointment to one of the highest positions in the nation, before his surprise removal from the post this week: "The Mooch could be exactly what we need" is how one editorial writer put it. Let's just hope he doesn't get mugged off.

"The Daily Show" reprised its "in memoriam" reel to honor Mr. Scaramucci a little over one week after it marked Sean Spicer's departure as White House press secretary in a similar fashion. However you feel about Scaramucci, this is certainly a seemingly very intense and possibly trying time in his life.

A "red flag" went up in Washington when Scaramucci's hedge fund, SkyBridge Capital, was sold to HNA Capital, a subsidiary of Chinese conglomerate HNA Group, Jim Rickards, editor of investment newsletter Strategic Intelligence, told CNBC.

Jimmy Kimmel scored an interview with him. Noah lamented that he "just bought the Scaramucci 2017 jersey" and that he hadn't "even finished my Scaramucci tattoo".

Booting Priebus makes some sense, Noah said. "That is thorough", Colbert stated.

You'd think social conservatives, a group that cares so deeply about positive role models for kids (and routinely protests the presence of LGBTQ characters and abortion plot lines on TV) might take issue with a commander-in-chief who is an alleged groper and a White House communications director who unloaded expletives about his colleagues on the telephone.

"His going away party can serve what's left of his welcome cake", he added. "Evidently, 'no chaos' wasn't bragging, it was complaining".

The host then offered a farewell song to the former aide, saying, "Anthony Scaramucci, we hardly knew-chi".

"He just got here!" Barely got to the White House. I won't be back to mooch this time tomorrow.
