This is not good news for The Hugger.

A video released by WWE on Monday revealed that Bayley will be out of the August 20 SummerSlam card in Brooklyn, New York, due to a shoulder injury she suffered last week on Raw against Nia Jax. Those worries were not confirmed upon first evaluation because the swelling in Bayley's shoulder was too much.

WWE has announced Bayley indeed suffered a separated shoulder at the hands of Nia Jax.

Rome also revealed there will be two triple threat matches to determine the No. 1 contender to Alexa Bliss's RAW Women's Championship.

Several weeks ago, good friends Bayley and Sasha Banks competed in a match on WWE "Raw" with the victor becoming new No. 1 contender to challenge Alexa Bliss for the women's title.

Triple Threat Qualifying Match: Nia Jax def. Mickie James and Dana Brooke by pinning Dana Brooke following the big leg drop to advance to next week's #1 Contender's Match. After seeing the lengths these two went to at Great Balls of Fire to try and destroy each other, what will Roman and Braun be capable of in a Last Man Standing Match?

If you're sad for The Hugger, then you're probably correct in feeling that way. In fact, the official WWE RAW preview stated "it doesn't seem likely that The Huggable One will be getting back into the ring anytime soon". But this new development certainly adds another level of intrigue to the Raw Women's Championship at SummerSlam.
