The 'AHS: Cult' Opening Credits Feature Clinton, Trump, and Disgusting Bugs

The trailer starts off by showing the 2016 election night in MI. It appears as though Winter may have been sent by Kai to that housewhold in order to feed Ally's fear of clowns.

By now, "American Horror Story" fans already know that Evan Peters will be playing a blue-haired character named Kai in the upcoming seventh season that is titled "Cult".

While Paulson's character, Ally, is devastated by the election news, Peters' character has a very different reaction, to say the least.

Sarah Paulson plays Ally, a woman who lives in MI and loses it when Trump is elected president. It opens with more "hive" imagery, showcasing bees and other bugs crawling over a surface and out of someone's skin as well as more haunting clowns. According to Entertainment Weekly, Ally starts seeing clowns everywhere after the election and not even her therapist (played by Cheyenne Jackson) can help. A master manipulator, he gets Winter (Billie Lourd) to pose as Ally and Ivy's nanny, turning their world more upside down than the election ever could. Fortunately, we don't have to wait too much longer - AHS: Cult premieres September 5 on FX. The trailer also gives the first look at Alison Pill's character, who is married to Ally.

In the trailer for the series' seventh season, Ryan Murphy show regular Sarah Paulson looks to be a regular suburban housewife in MI who is horrified at the election results.

This season's returning cast also includes Emma Roberts, Frances Conroy, Mare Winningham and Adina Porter, along with newcomers Colton Haynes, Leslie Grossman and Lena Dunham (for one episode).
