Ronda Rousey is Getting Married During the Mayweather vs. McGregor fight

Dana White has a decent excuse for skipping Ronda Rousey's wedding.

She will be marrying fellow professional UFC fighter Travis Browne, who owns an 18-7-1 career record.

Ronda Rousey, the former UFC bantamweight champion who stepped away from the sport following a devastating loss in December, will Wednesday heavyweight fighter Travis Browne, according to UFC President Dana White. "She's focusing on this wedding". "Tomorrow is her wedding", said White while on the "Rich Eisen Show" earlier Friday.

MMA's biggest power couple got engaged earlier this year and chose to get hitched the same night as UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor took on boxing sensation Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Rousey and Browne announced their engagement back in April.

The UFC president also revealed that Rousey is in a good place and is happy with the way things are now. However, those plans changed when "Rowdy" told him the wedding would take place on Saturday. When Rousey asked him if he would attend, White said "absolutely". Despite her recent loss to Holly Holm in November 2015 followed by another one against Amanda Nunes in December 2016, the fearless fighter has not announced any desire to retire from the sports. If Rousey and Browne wanted a low key affair with minimal attention then they may be set to pull off a masterstroke. Rousey was stunningly knocked out in the second round.

Ronda Rousey lasted just 48 seconds the last time she stepped into the UFC octagon.
