The magnitude 8.1 quake is considered the most powerful natural disaster to hit Mexico in a century.

The number of casualties from the massive quake in Mexico has increased to at least 90 till Sunday after the emergency services in the southern state of Oaxaca confirmed that 71 people had died in the state alone. Another, an infant on a respirator, died after the quake triggered a power outage.
