Apple's iPhone 8 Plus is unexpectedly popping open

Early adopters of the new devices complained on Apple's support forums and sites like Reddit of a high-pitched buzzing sound stemming from the phones' built-in earpiece.

A Taiwan Apple customer took to social media to show his brand new iPhone 8 Plus splitting in half. It's also possible that a third-party charger was used in the Taiwanese owner's case, even though the owner claims she used the Apple-provided plug adaptor and cable.

The recently launched smartphone from the USA giant was reported to have experienced the swollen battery issue by a user in Taiwan on the third day of owning the device. The survey also found that 64% of prospective iPhone buyers want the 2017 iPhones, but this is less compared to the 71% of prospective buyers who were surveyed a year ago.

In fact, the iOS 11 caused such a burdensome problem for certain users that Apple released the iOS 11.0.1 last week, which is a further update created to patch an email issue. Also, the Tim Cook-led team bundles a Lightning to 3.5mm headphone jack adapter with the iPhone 7 and 8 models. The company has not given any timeframe for the release, but since the iPhone X launch is set to happen in November, so the update will most likely arrive anytime soon. The first-generation Rockstar adapter is now available on online stores such as Amazon India for Rs.3,850.

It has been barely a week since the Apple iPhone 8 went on sale in various countries around the world and now the device has been hit with a controversy which could tarnish the phone's reputation. The Cupertino company launched a smart battery case for the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus back in December 2015.

However, this is not the first time the iPhone 8 has had problems with its batteries.

Is Apple going to stop digitally signing in this release anytime soon, and will soon be worth 10.3.3 of OS to expect a solution to problem with new update?
