Nate moves out this evening, but more rain falls soon

The heaviest rain will likely stay north of Delmarva, but you'll probably need the umbrella at times. Showers are expected to return Wednesday, before drying up for the weekend. We'll follow the steady rain in the morning with off and on showers for a few hours. Highs today will top out in the mid to upper 70s. On Thursday, we'll have cloudy skies and off and on light rain. "Southern counties could receive between 2-4" of much needed rain!

Cooler weather is expected for Wednesday.

Rain should begin to be drawn out of IN (to the east) late morning.

Kimball said Nate's remnants also were causing heavy rainfall in the foothills and mountains, and several flood warnings were issued during the day Sunday. The current ocean water temperature is around 70, so expect highs just shy of 70 on Thursday. Next weekend looks attractive with plenty of sunshine and highs in the mid-70s to near 80°. High pressure will build in for Tuesday and deliver enough dry air to allow breaks of sun to develop Tuesday with a fresh northwesterly breeze.

Showers should arrive in Central New York sometime on Wednesday afternoon and will be widespread into Wednesday night. Spotty showers could linger, but will not be as heavy as the occasional heavy showers in the afternoon. As of now Saturday looks mainly dry. Mild to warm temperatures will stick through the forecast period as well.
