Kevin Spacey removed from Ridley Scott's film

Kevin Spacey has been cut out of the upcoming movie All the Money in the World after sexual assault accusations surfaced, multiple reports say.

Kevin Spacey has been replaced in a film six weeks before its release. Cast-members Mark Wahlberg and Michelle Williams are reportedly cooperating with the reshoot, and the cast and crew's decision to redo Spacey's scenes with Plummer was unanimous.

Despite the age difference between the two actors - at 87, Plummer is nearly 30 years Spacey's senior - the recasting will come as a welcome development for director Ridley Scott. Christopher Plummer has been set to replace Spacey in the role of J Paul Getty.

Scott is a maverick, and didn't shrink under the pressure to re-stage the key scenes involving J Paul Getty, the oilman who refused to pay a ransom after his grandson, John Paul Getty III was kidnapped.

The decision to remove Spacey from the film came a day after Heather Unruh, a former TV news anchor, accused Spacey of assaulted her son on Nantucket in July 2016.

It is not clear how Scott will produce the Spacey-Plummer swap, but bringing back the actors for filming and finishing the movie on this razor-tight schedule is an enormous undertaking.

Spacey's career has nosedived since the first allegation of sexual advances were made by actor Anthony Rapp on 30 October.

Spacey is now off getting "treatment" probably the same place Weinstein is, probably watching his career go up in flames all around him.
