Is Eagles Quarterback Carson Wentz Out for the Season?

I know my God is a powerful one with a ideal plan. We overcame our running back. Foles, who owns an 88.1 career passer rating represents a significant drop-off from Wentz who was having a breakout year in his second season. But we all know he is mentally strong.

There were other teams that used multiple quarterbacks in championship seasons, among them Miami (Bob Griese and Earl Morrall), Dallas (Craig Morton and Roger Staubach), Pittsburgh (Joe Gilliam and Terry Bradshaw), and the Raiders in Oakland (Dan Pastorini and Jim Plunkett) and Los Angeles (Marc Wilson and Plunkett).

Via Alden Gonzalez of ESPN.com, Rams coach Sean McVay said that wide receiver Robert Woods and outside linebacker Connor Barwin are expected back in the lineup after missing games, and tackles Andrew Whitworth and Rob Havenstein should return after they had to leave Sunday's game against the Eagles.

"Obviously, it's been a rough day for me, personally, I'm not going to lie. If there's ever an opportunity for me as a head football coach to rally the troops, now might be the time".

Despite Kaepernick's controversial position in the National Football League world, many Philadelphia fans immediately considered the former 49ers signal caller as a solid player to bring in after the loss of Wentz.

Wentz has been special and he proved it again on Sunday.

Wentz said he was thankful for all the phone calls, texts, emails and tweets he has received since suffering his season-ending injury.

Foles, a more than capable backup, has proven he can win in spot relief, but he's nowhere near Wentz's level. He also achieved local legend status.

"People thought our chances were gone by the wayside when Jason Peters went down too, and when Darren Sproles goes down, and all the guys I mentioned earlier", Pederson said. And I greatly appreciate all the prayers! "I'm sure if you look at my Twitter, you'll still see Eagles fans wanting me to come back".
