Rudy Gobert Injury Update

Before that injury, he led the National Basketball Association with 2.5 blocks per game this season.

Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert may miss another month after he was diagnosed with a sprained PCL in his left knee as well as a bone bruise.

After missing 11 games in November due to a knee bruise, it sounds like Rudy Gobert is headed back on the shelf.

Expect more minutes from Ekpe Udoh with Gobert out and an even larger role out of Derrick Favors. Averaging over two blocks per game, he is arguably the NBA's most formidable rim protector. The good news for Jazz fans is that the team didn't completely fall off when he missed 11 games earlier this year.

"This group's got character, and they are going to compete no matter what the circumstances, and they did", Jazz head coach Quin Snyder told reporters.

At first, it was reported that Gobert's injury could be only a Grade 1 MCL strain, which is bad enough in itself, but not to the extent of his actual injury. The team also called up Tony Bradley on Saturday, with the Salt Lake City Stars player is expected to see minutes in the Jazz frontcourt over the next few games.
