Eden Hazard vows to sign new Chelsea deal along with Thibaut Courtois

Zinedine Zidane insists Los Blancos will not make any signings this month despite their position in La Liga.

His father, Thierry Hazard much recently revealed that his son had rejected a new contract offer at the blues.

Whilst reports claimed that both were set to agree new deals at the club, reports in Spanish press believe that both torn over their future.

The champions now trail leaders Barcelona by 16 points although they do have one game in hand.

Hazard is expected to be next to sign on the dotted line once goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has signed a new £200,000-a-week deal.

However, appearing at the NBA London match on Thursday night at the O2 Arena to watch the Boston Celtics beat the Philadelphia 76ers 114-103, Hazard confirmed that he will sign a new deal with Chelsea and will follow teammate Courtois, who is out of contract next year.

The Belgium global, who has been at Chelsea since 2012, has been repeatedly linked with a stunning move to Real Madrid over the past two years.

A player of his calibre should perhaps have posted greater numbers during his time at Stamford Bridge, and that is one aspect of his game that separates him from the two superstars.

Hazard has always been touted as a potential target for Real Madrid as the Spanish club continue to consider bolstering their squad.

Hazard said: "Yes. I think Thibaut first. I'm very happy to have Ross with us for the rest of the season".

Chelsea return to action at the weekend in the Premier League when they take on Leicester.
